Not Acceptable for Disposal
Propane tanks (large or for small hand-held torches) and camp fuel canisters are not acceptable for disposal at the Reichs Ford Road Landfill and Recycling Center or at our household hazardous waste events. Because they are pressurized and sealed closed, propane tanks need to be returned to a vendor for proper disposal.
