Electronics Recycling

At our 9031 Reichs Ford Road site in Frederick, electronics brought through the main entrance for recycling incur a fee of $0.69 per 20 pounds of material being dropped off, if paid by cash or check. If paid by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover, the fee is $0.76 per 20 pounds of electronics being recycled. Electronics can also be brought to the Citizen's Convenience Center for a flat rate of $7.60.
Residents and commercial haulers are limited to recycling ten (10) televisions and/or computer monitors, including “All-in-One” computers, per calendar year.  (Note: This limit does not apply to tablets and laptops.)  If a resident or commercial hauler has reached their limit, they may dispose of additional televisions and monitors as solid waste and be charged at the current MSW tipping fee rate.
