Chances for flash flooding may alter bus routes at a moment’s notice, snarling traffic and causing major delays. Transit will try to alert you to these changes as they occur. Taxi Access Program
An additional option for TransIT-plus users, the TAP provides subsidized trips via local cab companies.
TransIT provides information on regional transit options including MARC commuter rail, MTA commuter bus, Metrobus and Metrorail & other commute alternatives. TransIT is a member of Commuter Connections, a program of the Washington Metropolitan Council of Governments. This computerized carpool and vanpool matching service is offered free to Frederick area commuters.
