Mason Carter was born and raised in Frederick County, graduating from Walkersville High School in 2022. He will attend Frederick Community College.
Before seeking office, Mason volunteered in local, state, and federal elections before being tapped as campaign manager for a Mayoral candidate in the City of Frederick.
He was also appointed as a County Representative to the Maryland Center for School Safety in 2021. Mason currently serves as the youngest Councilman in Frederick County and the State of Maryland.
