FREDERICK, Md. – The over-height warning portal on Roddy Road south of the covered bridge near Thurmont has been repaired and Roddy Road is now open.
The warning portal was struck and damaged by a vehicle on Friday, February 28. As a result, Roddy Road was temporarily closed while the Department of Highway Operations made repairs to the warning portal. The historic Roddy Road Covered Bridge was not harmed.
