Interested Nonprofit Organizations Encouraged to Apply
FREDERICK, Md. – Eligible nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for Frederick County’s Fiscal Year 2027 Community Partnership Grant Program beginning December 2. This program awards competitive grants to nonprofit 501(c)(3) community organizations that provide and deliver services to Frederick County residents.
An in-person information session will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at 1:30 p.m. for nonprofit organizations to learn more about the program and application process. The meeting will be held at Winchester Hall, located at 12 East Church Street in Frederick.
“Frederick County is honored to work with local nonprofits to enhance services and improve access to resources,” said County Executive Jessica Fitzwater. “By fostering partnerships that are inclusive, collaborative, and innovative, we are continuing to build a stronger, more vibrant community the Frederick County Way.”

The FY27 grant program will accept applications that target the following priority areas:
- Addressing Homelessness and Housing Solutions, such as housing insecurity, affordable housing opportunities, financial literacy, and initiatives to help people age in place.
- Quality of Life initiatives, such as childcare, support for seniors, youth empowerment and engagement, programs that increase community inclusion and belonging, and transportation innovation.
- Public Health, such as programs addressing food insecurity, mental health, behavioral health, substance use disorder, intimate partner violence, health equity, and maternal health.
- Supporting the Arts, such as expanding access to cultural enrichment, using the arts to build bridges and make connections, placemaking, and providing community arts programming.
Applications will be accepted from eligible nonprofit organizations, with a limit of one application per organization. Grants come with accountability standards that all grantees must meet. The application deadline is January 20, 2026 at 4 p.m.
