This project will address the stormwater drainage ditches of the Clover Hill community which that were found to be inadequate based on the Frederick County Division of Energy & Environment Clover Hill Drainage & Capacity Study finalized in January 2023. The modification of stormwater infrastructure will include the regrading of ditches, the replacement of damaged or inefficient culverts, and improvements to the Fox Hunt Lane storm drain and channel. The approximate boundary of the Clover Hill Study Area is from Yellow Springs Road to Opossumtown Pike and from Fort Detrick/FCC to Poole Jones Road/Kellerton Development.
The project is currently in it’s 30% design phase. These design plans as well as the 30% design study report are posted online via this webpage. Following community feedback and feasibility analyses, the 60% design phase will be developed and begin to address more specific details and location conditions.
