Administrative Charging Committee

The Administrative Charging Committee (ACC) in Frederick County, Maryland, is part of the police accountability framework established under Maryland's Police Accountability Act of 2021. The ACC is responsible for reviewing police misconduct complaints that have been investigated by law enforcement agencies and determining whether an officer should be charged with misconduct.

Commission for Women

The Commission creates a stronger community by addressing challenges and fostering unlimited opportunities for all women.

Equity and Inclusion Commission

The Commission acts as an advisory body to the Frederick County Executive, County Council, and  the Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer, and helps identify issues, concerns, and needs of County residents to improve diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and makes recommendations as appropriate.

Human Relations Commission

The Commission provides a forum for the presentation of problems concerning discrimination and investigates and studies alleged discrimination and problems relating to this topic.

Immigrant Affairs Commission

The Commission acts as an advisory body that serves as a means for immigrant voices to be heard and understood, facilitates civic engagement among immigrants, and recognizes and legitimizes issues of importance to immigrants arriving and living in Frederick County.

Police Accountability Board

The Police Accountability Board (PAB) in Frederick County, Maryland, is an oversight body established in response to Maryland's Police Accountability Act of 2021. Its purpose is to increase transparency, accountability, and community trust in law enforcement.

Trial Board

The Trial Board in Frederick County, Maryland, is the final stage in the police accountability process established by the Maryland Police Accountability Act of 2021. It is a formal hearing board that reviews cases of police misconduct when an officer contests the findings or disciplinary actions recommended by the Administrative Charging Committee (ACC).
