General Information and Calendar Flyer

You can request a mail-in ballot or choose to be put on the permanent mail-in ballot list. You can mail your ballot back to us in the postage-paid return envelope, or you can use one of our 
eight convenient drop boxes. Ballots must be placed in drop box or postmarked by July 19 for the Primary and November 8 for the General.

You can vote at a Early Voting Center. Early Voting for the 2022 Maryland Gubernatorial Primary Election is Thursday, July 7, 2022 through Thursday, July 14, 2022, including Saturday and Sunday. Early Voting for the 2022 Maryland Gubernatorial General Election is Thursday, October 27, 2022 through Thursday, November 3, 2022, including Saturday and Sunday. Early Voting locations are open 7 am-8 pm, daily. For the Primary, Early Voting sites will be at Trinity Recreation Center, Urbana Regional Library, Thurmont Regional Library, and Middletown Primary School.

You can vote on 
Election Day. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, July 19, 2022, and General Election Day is November 8, 2022. You must vote at your assigned polling place. Polls are open from 7 am - 8 pm.

 Early Voting sites and polling places are busier first thing in the morning and in the later afternoon, so you may want to vote between 10 am and 3 pm.
