Help People Register to Vote!
Looking for a way to serve your community?
Are you at least 18 years old and registered to vote? Then you can become a Voter Registration Distributor within the state of Maryland. Being a Voter Registration Distributor is an easy way to serve your community by assisting others with access to voter registration.
You can work directly with members of your immediate community like your church, school or neighborhood. You can also find opportunities to assist registering underserved communities through groups such as the League of Women Voters of Maryland.
During a 1-hour training session, Voter Registration Distributors learn how to accurately complete Maryland’s voter registration application and the State of Maryland's voter registration requirements.
After the training session, you must sign a document attesting that you will comply with Maryland regulations when you work as a Voter Registration Distributor. You will receive a certificate/ID card identifying you as a Voter Registration Distributor and you will be able to register voters anywhere within Maryland.
At the training course you will receive a packet including:
- Voter Registration forms
- Election Judge Registration Forms
- Voter Assistance forms
- Stickers
- Table tent with QR codes
Voter Registration Distributor training is held the last Wednesday of every month at 8490 Progress Drive, Frederick, MD in Suite 300 at 1 PM.
