FREDERICK, Md. – County Executive Jessica Fitzwater will hold a public hearing regarding the Fiscal Year 2027 budget at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 1. Members of the public are invited to offer their suggestions and priorities for the upcoming budget year, which begins July 1, 2026. People can participate in person, by phone, or online.

Come to Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street, Frederick. Parking is available on the street or in downtown parking decks. Transit’s fare-free buses also stop nearby. The 51 and 61 Connectors serve Market Street and Church Street, less than two blocks from Winchester Hall. The 40, 50, 60, and 65 Connectors, and the Brunswick/Jefferson, North Frederick, and Emmitsburg/Thurmont Shuttles operate nearby.
