People now have access to a dedicated Spanish YouTube channel of Frederick County Government videos, marking a significant step toward enhancing community engagement and inclusivity. This new platform aims to provide accessible and informative content about County services, events, and initiatives to Frederick County’s growing Hispanic and Latino community.
“The new YouTube channel is an important way to reach people where they are by making information available to everyone,” County Executive Jessica Fitzwater said. “We are inclusive and welcoming to the over 11,000 people in our community who speak Spanish as their primary language. This new tool will help people to engage with their government."
The new channel will feature videos on a variety of topics, including public health information, educational resources, pet adoption opportunities, and community programs. By offering content in Spanish, the County hopes to bridge language barriers and ensure that everyone has equal access to important information.
Stay tuned for more updates and content by subscribing to the new Frederick County Spanish YouTube channel, @CondadoDeFrederickMD.
