FREDERICK, Md. – The Frederick County Department of Highway Operations will temporarily close two roads for repair work beginning August 26.
Closure 1: Black Mills Road Bridge at Hunting Creek
Blacks Mill Road Bridge at Hunting Creek will be closed beginning August 26 for approximately two weeks, weather permitting. The closure will allow the Frederick County Department of Highway Operations to shore up the abutment on the bridge. A signed detour will be in place. Closure 2: Highland School Road
A portion of Highland School Road, from Route 17 to address 10814, will be closed beginning August 26 for approximately three weeks, weather permitting. The closure will allow the Frederick County Department of Highway Operations to replace pipes and clean ditches on the road. A signed detour will be in place.
