FREDERICK, Md. – A section of Mount Tabor Road will be closed during daytime hours for several weeks, beginning Monday, June 24. The closure will allow Frederick County’s Office of Highway Operations to stabilize the bank and make improvements to guard rails. Motorists will need to find alternate routes between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. Weather permitting, the road will reopen the afternoon of July 12. Fire and rescue vehicles will be able to the road, although there could be a short delay. For more information, contact Myersville District Foreman Joe Sollenberger at 301-600-1573.
