FREDERICK, MD – The following county roads will experience closures for maintenance or repairs in the first two weeks of June.
Reichs Ford Road will close at the railroad crossing on Monday, June 5, to allow CSX to repair the crossing, according to the Office of Construction Inspection. Detour signs will be in place. The project is expected to last five days, weather permitting. work includes the replacement of existing tracks, ties and make asphalt repairs as necessary.

Mount Tabor Road will close from Alternate U.S. Route 40 to Tabor Drive on Monday, June 5, to replace pipes and stabilize the bank, according to the Department of Highway Operations. Detour signs will be in place. The project is expected to last two weeks.

Reels Mill Road will close between Ball Road and Md. Route 355 the week of June 12 to replace culvert pipes and install a headwall, according to the Department of Highway Operations. Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., with the possibility of overnight closure.
