FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Project Management announced today that Shadywood Drive between Brook Drive and the Briercrest Condominiums will be closed on or about November 7, 2022. This closure will allow Magstone Construction to complete construction of BMP 115, the Stormwater Management Facility located on the east side of Shadywood Drive. Detour signs will be placed along Jefferson Pike, Holter Road, Champlaine Drive, Manheim Place, Amesbury Way, Shadywood Drive, Brook Drive and Old Middletown Road. The project is anticipated to last approximately two (2) weeks weather permitting. The work includes the rehabilitation of the existing stormwater management facility and replacement of the concrete pipe under Shadywood Drive.
