[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Memorial to Be Dedicated in Frederick County

Covid Memorial

FREDERICK, Md. – Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner will host a COVID-19 Memorial Dedication Ceremony this Saturday, July 23, at 9 a.m., at Frederick County’s Utica District Park. 

 U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen will give remarks, along with health care and public health workers, and a local survivor.  The public is invited to join us as we honor the lives lost due to COVID-19 and recognize those who risked their safety to care for our community.  

 If you are unable to attend the dedication, please consider visiting Utica District Park after July 23rd to view the memorial.
