FREDERICK, MD – Rocky Springs Road will be closed to traffic between Fountain Drive and Bluegrass Way, beginning April 25, 2022, according to the Division of Public Works, Traffic and Permit Section. This closure will allow for the construction of a new road alignment. Rocky Springs Road is expected to re-open on or about June 3, 2022.
Motorists are advised to use the signed detour route along Rocky Springs Road, Christopher’s Crossing, and Yellow Springs Road to reach their destination for the duration of the closure. Access to private property will be maintained during this project.
