FREDERICK, Md. – Face coverings are required for gatherings of 50 people or more at all shelters, as well as in bleachers and stadium seating within Frederick County parks. The Division of Parks and Recreation updated its park facility usage policy today. Previously, all guests at shelters and those watching sporting events were required to wear masks. The change is in line with the State of Maryland order that requires face coverings at large venues. A copy of the policy can be found on the Parks and Recreation website, www.recreater.com. All park guests are encouraged to continue wearing face coverings, maintain distance from people outside of their household, and wash hands frequently.
