The Board of Health of Frederick County, Maryland, will conduct a virtual meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter to discuss:
Under state law, the Board of Health, which in Frederick County is the County Council and County Executive led by the County Health Officer, is authorized to meet. It meets in that capacity to consider various aspects of local Health Department policies and programs and a rather broad spectrum of related health issues. State law permits the local Board of Health to adopt and enforce all rules and regulations concerning nuisances and causes of sickness within its jurisdiction, as long as these are not contrary to and are at least as stringent as existing laws, rules and regulations promulgated on the state level. The local Board may also establish all fees and charges in connection with local regulation.

The Board of Health may modify the regulation in whole or in part before enactment.
Members of the public will be given three (3) minutes per speaker via telephone.
