[ARCHIVED] Keysville Road Re-opened to Traffic

FREDERICK, MD – The Division of Public Works; Office of Transportation Engineering & Office of Highway Operations announced today, that the Keysville Road bridge over Toms Creek is now re-open to traffic.

The bridge was closed on December 10, 2020 due to safety concerns of the bridge structure. The closure allowed the Office of Transportation Engineering & Office of Highway Operations to implement temporary repairs to reopen the bridge. Additional permanent repairs will be installed in the coming weeks. It is anticipated the future repairs will require the bridge to be closed again for a few days.  Notice will be made when the dates of the future repairs are known.

For additional information, contact Engineer Amanda Radcliffe, Office of Transportation Engineering, at 301-600-1959 or via email at ARadcliffe@FrederickCountyMD.gov.
