[ARCHIVED] UPDATED: Frederick County Government operations will now CLOSE EARLY

 FREDERICK, MD – UPDATED: Due to inclement weather, Frederick County Government offices and facilities will CLOSE EARLY at 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1, 2020.

Liberal leave remains in effect. Frederick County Circuit and District Courts remain CLOSED. Frederick County Libraries also remain CLOSED.

All “Non-Essential” County employees, including teleworking employees, are on paid administrative leave beginning at 3 p.m., and are not expected to report or to log onto the County internet and perform their normal duties after this time. County employees who are designated as “Essential” are expected to perform their duties as they normally would. If an “Essential” employee is required to continue to report for work, they will not be placed on administrative leave and will be expected to work and perform duties as directed by their management/supervisor.

 

The vaccination clinic scheduled to take place today at 2 p.m. at Scott Key Center has been cancelled.

 

The Equity & Inclusion Leadership Team meeting scheduled for this evening will take place virtually, although it will not be broadcast on FCG TV. Anyone from the public who wishes to view the meeting can watch it at https://publicinput.com/S1024.
