FREDERICK, MD – UPDATED: Due to inclement weather, Frederick County Circuit and District Courts will remain CLOSED. Frederick County Libraries will also remain CLOSED.
Frederick County Government offices and facilities will continue to operate on a delayed opening schedule, opening at 10 a.m., today, Monday, Feb. 1, 2020. and employees will operate under the liberal leave policy. All “Non-Essential” County employees, including teleworking employees, are on paid administrative leave until 10 a.m., due to this delay, and are not expected to report or to log onto the County internet and perform their normal duties prior to opening. County employees who are designated as “Essential” are expected to perform their duties as they normally would. If an “Essential” employee is required to report to work on time, they will not be placed on administrative leave and will be expected to work and perform duties as directed by their management/supervisor.
