Frederick County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center is holding its 19th Annual Open House on Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, which is family friendly, will be held at the facility’s location at 1832 Rosemont Avenue in Frederick.
The Open House provides county residents with an opportunity to learn about Animal Control and pet adoption. Throughout the day, staff and volunteers will be on hand to show area residents adoptable animals, provide guided tours of the facility and answer questions.
This event also features free food and a bake sale, a bounce house for the kids, animal-related vendors and music from local radio station 99.9 WFRE. Microchipping will be available for owned animals upon request.
