[ARCHIVED] Voter Registration Volunteer Training Available

Training is now available at the Frederick County Board of Elections for those individuals who wish to register persons to vote. To qualify as a Voter Registration Volunteer, a person must be of voting age and be instructed in accordance with the Code of Maryland Regulations, Title 33.

The training is available on Mondays, 10 a.m.–Noon and 2-4 p.m., and on Fridays, 10 a.m.–Noon and 2–4 p.m. Persons may come to the office during those hours for training; no appointment is needed. At the completion of training, volunteers will be provided with Voter Registration Applications. The last training session will be on Friday, October 5.

In order to become a registered voter, individuals must be a U.S. citizen, live in Frederick County, and be at least 16 years of age. Those who are at least 18 years of age on or before November 6, 2018 can vote in the general election.
