The over-height warning portal on Roddy Road south of the covered bridge near Thurmont was struck by a truck on February 19, 2018. The Roddy Road Covered Bridge was not harmed as the over-height warning portal stopped the vehicle.
Repairs to the over-height warning portal will be completed by the Office of Highway Operations. It is anticipated the road will be open later this week.
