[ARCHIVED] County Executive Gardner Announces Solution to MD Route 75 Bridge and Trucking Incidents

Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner today announced a solution to alleviate a long-standing problem at MD 75 near the CSX train bridge. The county will install turn-around circles to prevent trucks from getting stuck under the bridge and causing lengthy traffic delays.

“I am pleased to announce that the county will begin construction on a turn-around south of the bridge on MD 75 next week,” said Executive Gardner. “This turn-around will alleviate many of the backups that have frustrated motorists as they wait for trucks that need to back out or that need to be freed after getting wedged under the CSX train bridge.”
