[ARCHIVED] County Executive, Public Safety Unions Agree to Multi-Year Collective Bargaining Agreement

Professional firefighters and paramedics this week ratified a two-year collective bargaining agreement with Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner.

The agreement with Career Firefighters and Paramedics Association of Frederick County, Local #3666, includes a new pay scale for newly integrated medic positions, salary increases, adjustments to sick leave hours, and payout of floating holidays. Unions representing deputies and correctional officers signed separate agreements in May.
