[ARCHIVED] Gas House Pike to Close for Emergency Culvert Repair on Tuesday, March 1, 3:30 p.m.

The Frederick County Office of Highway Operations announced today that there will be an emergency road closure for Gas House Pike between Dance Hall Road and Boyers Mill Road starting at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. This will allow the Office of Highway Operations to conduct emergency culvert repairs and stabilize an area with a high bank.

Gas House Pike will be closed for approximately one week, weather permitting.

During the emergency repairs, a detour will be posted. The detour will utilize Dance Hall Road, MD Route 26 (Liberty Road), Kelly Road and McKaig Road.
