Hoovers Mill Road Opened to Traffic
FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering (OTE) announced today that Hoovers Mill Road at the bridge crossing Owens Creek near the intersection with Frushour Road intersection is now re-opened to traffic.
The closure allowed the contractor, Franco’s Liberty Bridge, Inc to rehabilitate the one lane pony truss bridge. The structure’s posted weight restriction of 30,000 lbs will remain in place to continue to preserve the historic structure.
