FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering announced today that Old Mill Bottom Road will be closed at the railroad crossing at Old National Pike, just west of Mount Airy, on or about October 22, 2020 through October 23, 2020. The closure will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. This will allow CSX Transportation to make repairs to the railroad crossing on Old Mill Bottom Road. This is a dead end road and needs no detours. Emergency equipment will be able to enter Old Mill Bottom Road for emergencies.
