FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering announced today that Poffenberger Road is now re-opened to traffic between Carroll Boyer Road and Corun Road.
The road closure allowed contractor, Concrete General, Inc., to construct a retaining wall to stabilize the failed roadway embankment and support the road, reconstruct the road surface, and install drainage and safety improvements.
