[ARCHIVED] County Announces Water Main Break in Point of Rocks - Emergency Repairs Underway

The Frederick County Division of Utilities and Solid Waste Management announced that there is a water main break in Point of Rocks.  Water has been shut off on Clay Street between Ballenger Creek Pike and Bank Street impacting roughly seven homes.  County staff are working to locate and repair the break.  At this time, there is no estimated time when water service will be restored.

 Due to this emergency situation, traffic along MD 28 will be impacted as well.
