[ARCHIVED] Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner Invites Citizens to Swearing-In Ceremony on Dec. 3

Frederick County Swearing-In Ceremony Invitation 2018

The swearing-in ceremony for incoming County Executive Jan Gardner and County Council Members Michael J. Blue, Philip Dacey, Jerry Donald, Jessica Fitzwater, Kai J. Hagen, M.C. Keegan-Ayer and Steven McKay will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, at The Weinberg Center for the Arts.

Executive Gardner was the first County Executive for Frederick County. The ceremony will mark the second inaugural event since the transition in 2014 from the county commissioner form of government to Charter Government with a County Executive and seven-member County Council.

The Weinberg Center is located at 200 East Patrick Street in the heart of historic downtown Frederick, Md. Those attending the ceremony may park in the Court Street parking garage near the Weinberg. The ground-floor exit in the garage can be used to reach the center. Limited metered parking is also available along adjacent streets.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on FCG TV, cable channel 19 and 1085, and webcast at www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/FCGTV.

Following the ceremony, citizens are also invited to an open house that will be held at Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street, until 2 p.m.
