Registered voters in Frederick County can vote early before the 2018 General Election. This year, Early Voting occurs Oct. 25
through Nov. 1, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. each day. There are four Early Voting locations in Frederick County, and voters can use any of the four centers to cast their vote.
The first Early Voting Center will be set up
in the Frederick County Senior Services Division/Senior Center, located at 1440
Taney Avenue, Frederick. (Early voting operations will not
disrupt regularly scheduled events at the Senior Center, but seniors will be
encouraged to sign up in advance for certain activities.)
Because of possible heavy voter traffic, voters are encouraged to use overflow parking in the back upper parking lot of the American Legion, 1450 Taney Avenue, on the following dates and times: Oct.
25, 28, 29, 30 and Nov. 1 – all day, and Oct. 26, 27 and 31 – until 6
p.m. Posted signs will direct voters to the overflow parking area.
The second Early Voting Center will be set up at the Thurmont
Regional Library, located at 76 East Moser Road, Thurmont.
The third Early Voting Center will be set up at the Urbana
Regional Library, located at 9020 Amelung Street, Frederick.
The fourth Early Voting Center will be set up at the Middletown
Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center, 1 Fireman’s Lane, Middletown.
For more information, please see the attached press release and map directing City voters to the overflow
