As previously announced, Frederick County Government offices and facilities will delay opening until 10 a.m. Due to a re-evaluation of conditions, county employees will also operate on the liberal leave policy after that time.
According to the National Weather Service, due to the high-impact windstorm for the region, many downed trees and power lines are expected, making travel difficult. A High Wind Warning is in effect until March 3, at 6:00 a.m.
