The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering announced that Ball Road will be closed at the structure over Peter Pan Run on or about November 29, 2017. This will allow contractor, Kline, LLC, d/b/a Pleasants Paving, to replace the structure.
The project will replace the existing structure and is scheduled to last until summer 2018, weather permitting. The work includes complete removal of the existing pipe structure, replacing portions of the existing traffic barriers, installing new traffic barriers and end treatments, installing a two-cell precast box culvert, constructing new cast-in-place headwalls, wingwalls, toe walls, and footings, installing new bridge railings, regrading approaches, and installing riprap. A temporary stream diversion will be used.
