The Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office has issued a total ban on outdoor burning effective immediately, until 6:00 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016. All outdoor burning, including recreational fires, is prohibited.
The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement advising of an enhanced fire danger today. The combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity, and low fuel moisture this afternoon will enhance the threat for the spread of wildfires.
