[ARCHIVED] County Restricts Access to Fountain Rock Park Quarry Pond Due to Algae

The Parks and Recreation Division has restricted access to the quarry due to algae on the water surface of the pond. As a precaution, the County tested water sources in the Walkersville area and found no threat to drinking water supplies.
