Get Involved

You can do something. You can make a difference.

Educate yourself and others about healthy child development and ways to prevent child abuse and neglect from ever happening in the first place. Invite speakers from the Child Advocacy Center to address your business or group—a service provided at no cost.

Support programs that provide home visiting and support for parents of babies and young children, parent education, mental health services, affordable quality daycare, safe neighborhoods, bullying prevention, medical insurance for children, substance abuse treatment and support economic opportunities for parents.

Get involved with the Friends of the Child Advocacy Center, an all-volunteer private non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and the healing of victims.

*Due to the sensitive nature of our client's concerns, The Frederick County CAC does not accept direct volunteers to our center. If you are interested in assisting us in meeting our mission through volunteering, please contact the Friends of the Child Advocacy Center, a local 501C-3 non-profit organization that was established to support the mission of the CAC and the work that we do.
