Frederick County Launches Transition Priorities Implementation Dashboard

FREDERICK, Md. – County Executive Jessica Fitzwater announced today the launch of the Transition Priorities Implementation Dashboard, an interactive online tool designed to give residents a clear, accessible view of progress on key initiatives identified during the County Executive’s transition process. The dashboard reflects the County Executive’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and data‑driven governance.

The Transition Priorities Implementation Dashboard provides updates on major goals established by transition workgroups, including areas such as economic development, housing, transportation, public safety, public health, sustainability, and government innovation. Each priority includes status indicators, background information, and measurable milestones so the community can easily track how the administration is advancing its commitments.

“Transparency and accountability are the cornerstones of this administration,” said County Executive Fitzwater. “This dashboard empowers the public to see exactly how we’re delivering on the priorities they care about most. It’s not just about tracking progress; it’s about building trust and fostering collaboration the Frederick County way.”

The dashboard was developed by the Frederick County Executive’s Office in collaboration with the Division of Interagency Information Technology and input from all County divisions. It is designed to be intuitive, accessible, and mobile‑friendly, allowing the community and partners to explore progress at a glance or dive deeper into specific initiatives.

Key features of the Transition Priorities Dashboard include:

  • Clear progress indicators showing the status of each priority
  • Detailed descriptions of initiatives and their intended community impact
  • Links to supporting documents and resources when available
  • Quarterly updates as milestones are reached or new actions begin

The Transition Priorities Dashboard is part of a broader effort to strengthen public engagement and ensure County government remains aligned with community needs. It complements existing transparency tools, including the Livable Frederick Dashboard released in 2025 to provide transparency into the County’s progress toward the Livable Frederick Master Plan.
