NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Re:  Rezoning Case #R-16-01 - Urbana Planned Unit Development / Mixed Use Development

The County Council (“Council”) of Frederick County, Maryland, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the first floor hearing room of Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street, Frederick, Maryland, to consider letters submitted to the County Council dated March 23, 2017, and April 3, 2017, by Urbana Investment Properties II and Monocacy Land Company, LLC, regarding their applications for a Phase I Plan revision to the Villages of Urbana Planned Unit Development (PUD); Phase I Plan revision to the Northern Mixed Use Development (MXD); and  Phase I Plan revision to the Southern MXD.  The hearing will be limited to consideration of the contents of the letters, including but not limited to the applicants’ request to amend their application.

Copies of the letters may be obtained from the Council’s Office, First Floor, Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701 (301-600-1135) or on Frederick County Government’s website at www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/council.

 

The applicants and members of the public will be given an opportunity to be heard at this public hearing.

Persons requiring special accommodations for this public hearing are requested to contact the Council’s Office at 301-600-1135 (TTY: Use Maryland Relay) to make the necessary arrangements no later than three (3) business days prior to the hearing.
