Effective January 1, 2011
Under Maryland Rule 16-208, possession and use of cell phones, computers, and other electronic devices may be limited or prohibited in designated areas of court facilities.

Court Room Rules
- All electronic devices must be turned off and out of view
- No phone calls or text messaging
- No photographing
- No audio or video recording
- All persons and articles are subject to physical search by court security personnel
- Failure to abide by these rules may result in confiscation of equipment and/or contempt charges
