Also, approved as a Maryland EMS Educations Program by the Maryland Emergency Medical Services Board upon the recommendation of the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Services Systems.
The Program was initially accredited in March 2017 and reaccredited most recently in July 2024 (CoAEMSP Program #600632). The CoAEMSP Standards require the reporting of the Program's Outcomes Assessment as listed below.

The goal of the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Service’s Paramedic Program is to prepare competent entry-level Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains without exit points.
