Municipal Technical Assistance Program

In 2022, Frederick County developed a Safety Action Plan to eliminate traffic-related deaths and serious injuries and to create a long-term safety culture in the county. Through a grant from the US Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets for All (SS4A) program, Frederick County is making available approximately $200,000 to support eligible municipalities with projects that improve roadway safety.

Applications for assistance will continue to be accepted as long as funding is available.
