Grant Funding Awarded to D.E.E.
$7,733,073*
That's the amount of grant funding our work has brought into Frederick County in fiscal years 2024-26 thanks to the talented Division of Energy and Environment staff who seek and support our grant applications. Our goal in finding external funding is to bring state and federal dollars back and put it to work for you, here in our community.
This funding allows us to work more efficiently and economically, increase our project capacity, collaborate with and support community partners, and expand the programs and services we offer to local neighborhoods, businesses, and individuals.
*In addition to the funds shown in the table below, DEE was awarded a $997,266 EPA Environmental Justice Government-to-Government Grant, and a $2,278,327 Equitable Charging Infrastructure Partnership grant that were both revoked by the current federal administration.
