How Switch Together Works

• The program conducts an auction - Switch Together organizes a reverse (low bid) auction and invites qualified, pre-vetted contractors to compete for your business. This ensures participants get a discount on a high-quality solar installation.
• You register - free and without obligation.  You can register online for our group purchasing program by filling in your contact details and some basic information about your home, current energy usage and/or costs. • Get a customized offer - Your custom site offer is based on the information you provided during registration and will provide info about the the costs, estimated solar production, and your potential savings.
• You decide - You decide whether or not to accept the offer – it’s completely up to you! If you choose to move forward with the process, the program asks you to provide a small, 100% refundable deposit to lock in the contract. When your solar installation is complete, that money will go toward the cost of the installation. If you pay the deposit but at any time decide to opt out of the program, the money is fully returned to you.
• Start saving!  Only if you accept the offer does the Switch Together program share your contact information with the winning contractor. The installer will verify your roof's suitability and confirm the package's cost. If you choose to proceed, an installation date will be set.
