FREDERICK, MD – Several roads will be temporarily closed in the coming weeks as CXS makes repairs to railroad crossings in Frederick County, according to the Frederick County Office of Construction Inspection. Each repair is expected to take five days, weather permitting. Work includes the replacement of existing tracks, ties and asphalt repairs. Specific roads and the anticipated closure dates include:
- English Muffin Way will be closed at the railroad crossing on March 27.
- Mountville Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on March 27.
- Limekiln Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 3.
- Ijamsville Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 10.
- Reels Mill Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 10.
- Doubs Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 17.
- Geoffrey Way will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 17.
- Manor Woods Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 17.
- Marcies Choice Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 17.
- New Design Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 17.
