[ARCHIVED] County Economic Development & Partners to Visit Over 100 County Businesses

The Frederick County Office of Economic Development (OED) will host the 15th Annual Frederick County Business Appreciation Week during the week of October 19-23 at more than 100 businesses all over Frederick County to thank businesses for what they do.

Over 60 ambassadors from the state, county, municipalities, and the Chamber of Commerce will meet with local businesses to learn more about the business and to personally thank them for their contributions to the Frederick County economy. The event also gives the Office of Economic Development an opportunity to identify any potential issues or concerns they may have and to allow OED the opportunity to support recommendations for improvement.

“We need to keep the lines of communication open with business owners. They know what works and what doesn’t. These one-on-one meetings will help us to support our business community. I want them to know that I mean business in terms of creating jobs, drawing new enterprises to Frederick County and supporting our vibrant local economy,” stated Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner.
