NEW ELECTION JUDGES NEEDED
Frederick County’s Board of Elections is seeking individuals to serve as election judges at polling places on Primary Election Day, April 28, 2020, and General Election Day, November 3, 2020.
Training will be provided, and all judges are compensated at least $25 for the three-hour training, and a minimum of $175 for Election Day work. A small number of Chief Judges, who make additional money for both training and Election Day, are also needed. The Board needs judges throughout the county. Veterans Resource & Recognition Day: Exhibitors will share information about services and benefits for individual of all ages who have served in the armed forces, as well as family, caregivers, and others interested in our veterans. In addition, there will be exhibits, speakers, lunch catered by Palmtree Catering, a message center where participants can create a greeting card for a hospitalized veteran, and other activities.
